4. For Port Networks with more than one Tone-Clock circuit pack,
interchange Tone-Clocks with the
set tone-clock UUC
, then run
test synchronization r 10
, and check to see if new 2305 errors are
reported against the new active Tone-Clock circuit pack. If not,
replace the standby Tone-Clock circuit pack. See
How to Replace
the Tone-Clock Circuit Pack
in the TONE-BD section. If this clears
the error, the problem has been resolved.
5. Replace the EI circuit pack for the active PNC. In the direct-connect
case, use the
list fibers
command to identify which active EI
connects with the PPN.
6. If the problem is still not cleared, and the Tone-Clock circuit pack
reported in the error log has not been replaced up to now, replace
it. See
