SYSAM Refresh Test (#912)
This test checks the current state of the Alarm Panel LEDs on the SYSAM circuit
pack and attempts to resynchronize them to reflect the current alarm levels in the
system. Any discrepancies are resolved by changing the Alarm Panel LEDs to
what maintenance believes the alarm levels should be. The SYSAM Refresh Test
runs only in G3r V1 software loads preceding Release 6.0. Newer software has
replaced the SYSAM Refresh Test with the External Modem Present Test (
both
use the Test #912 number).
FAIL The SYSAM did not respond to the sanity handshake query.
1. Run the test maintenance 1a|b long command. The terminal login drops,
and you must login again.
2. If test continues to fail, replace the SYSAM circuit pack at the earliest
convenience.
3. Retry the command.
4. Replace the SYSAM circuit pack. To replace the SYSAM circuit pack, refer
to ‘‘Replacing SPE Circuit Packs’’
in Chapter 5.
PASS The SYSAM did respond to the sanity handshake query.
1. Examine other SYSAM tests for errors.
