NetWare Configuration
Quick Setup Using the NIB Setup Tool Wizard
Using the NIB Setup Tool, you can easily set up a NetWare printing environ-
ment.

For more information on setting up the NIB Setup Tool, see P.24 “Installing the
NIB Setup Tool”.
You can select

Wizard

or

Property Sheet
]
as an installation method.
When you configure the Network Interface Board for the first time, use the Wiz-
ard method.
If you want to use the Property Sheet method, see P.38 “NetWare 3.x - Advanced
Settings” and P.41 “NetWare 4.x - Advanced Settings”.

This section assumes that NetWare is functional and that the necessary envi-
ronment for the NetWare Print Services is available.

If you configure the Network Interface Board in a NetWare environment us-
ing the NIB Setup Tool, you should install the client software released from
Novell in the following cases.
• Windows 95/98 in NDS mode configuration
• Windows NT 4.0 in NDS mode configuration
• Windows NT 4.0 in Bindary mode configuration

Log in to the Netware file server or the NDS tree as an Admin or Admin
equivalent.

Run the NIB Setup Tool.
