Menu Description
Page Size You should specify the paper size for those not indicated on
the paper size dials of the Tray 1, Tray 2, Tray 3 and Tray 4.
When you specify the sizes that are not indicated on the pa-
per size dial of Tray 1, Tray 2, Tray 3 or Tray 4, you should
set the dial to “
p
” and then specify the paper size here.
Tray 1
For information on paper sizes that can be set in Tray 1,
see P.85 “Paper and Other Media”.
Tray 2
For information on paper sizes that can be set in Tray 2,
see P.85 “Paper and Other Media”.
Tray 3 (option)
For information on paper sizes that can be set in Tray 3,
see P.85 “Paper and Other Media”.
Tray 4 (option)
For information on paper sizes that can be set in Tray 4,
see P.85 “Paper and Other Media”.
Note
Only the installed trays appear on the panel display.
Tray Paper Type You can specify the type of the paper in Tray 1, Tray 2, Tray
3, Tray 4 and Large Capacity Tray RT36.
If you want to specify the paper type, do not select "Auto"
in the "Tray Priority" menu. Select the tray you want to use.
Plain Paper
•Recycled Paper
•Special Paper
Note
Default: Plain Paper
"Special Paper" refers to a paper type other than plain
paper or recycled paper, such as colored paper.
Only the installed trays appear on the panel display.
If you select "Special Paper" for all trays, the paper is fed
from the tray you selected in the "Tray Priority" menu.
If you select "Auto" in the "Tray Priority" menu, the
printer automatically chooses the tray having plain pa-
per. If no tray has plain paper, the printer chooses the
tray having recycled paper.
