Removing Misfed Paper

Open the output feeder cover of
the bridge unit.

Remove the misfed paper by
turning the blue knob C as shown
in the illustration.
If you turn the blue knob C clock-
wise (
A
) , the misfed paper comes
out to the output tray (
B
).
If you turn the blue knob C coun-
terclockwise (
A
), remove the mis-
fed paper from inside of the right
cover (
B
).

Close the covers in the following
order:
• The right cover
•The duplex unit
• The bypass tray
• The front cover
• The output feeder cover
When "Misfeed:D" Appears
A
Open the output feeder cover of
the bridge unit (
A
), and remove
the misfed paper (
B
).

Open the bypass tray (
A
). And
then open the duplex unit by
pushing the catch upwards (
B
).
