Loading Paper in the Paper
Tray
This section describes instructions for
loading paper whose size and feed di-
rection is already set in the standard
paper tray and the optional paper
bank PS430. If you want to change the
paper size or feed direction, see P.94
“Changing Paper Size of the Paper
Tray”.

Confirm that the setting of the pa-
per size dial matches the paper size
and feed direction of the paper in
the tray. Otherwise, the printer
might be damaged, or printing
problems might occur.

A
Slide the paper tray out until it
stops.
B
Remove the rear guide.
C
Align all four sides of the paper
stack and load it into the tray.

Confirm that the top of the stack
is not higher than the limit mark
inside the tray.

While lifting the left side of the
paper, attach the rear guide.
