Power Fail Recovery
The Power Fail Recovery feature allows the cycle status
to be saved in memory in the event of a power failure.
If a cycle is in progress when the power fails, the cycle
status is saved in memory. When power recovers, the
control will determine whether to automatically
continue the cycle from the point it left off, requiring
the user to press the START pad to continue the cycle,
or end the cycle and put the control into the Ready
Mode.
Power Fail Reset Disabled
If the European Community (EC) Power Fail feature is
disabled, the control will automatically resume the
cycle from the point it left off. Whenever the EC
Power Fail feature is enabled and the power failure
lasted more than two (2) seconds, the control will go
back to the Start Mode and will prompt the user to
press the START pad to continue the cycle from the
point it left off.
Power Fail Reset Enabled
If the length of the power failure is less than the
programmed Power Failure Reset time, the control
will resume the cycle from the point it left off. The
cycle will resume automatically unless the EC Power
Fail feature is enabled and the failure lasted more than
two (2) seconds which requires the user to press the
START pad.
If the power failure lasted more than the programmed
power failure reset time, the contol will end the cycle
and will return to the Ready Mode. If, however, the
cylinder is filled with water when the power recovers,
the control will not go directly to Ready Mode, but
will spin out the water first. In this case the control
will enter the Start Mode at the Rinse Spin #1 step of
the DELICATE Cycle prompting the user to press the
START pad. Once the START pad is pressed, the
control will start the Rinse Spin #1 step, then the Final
Spin step and then end the cycle.
