When logged in as an Administrator (see “Administrator Login”), use the Config tab to manage
profiles. When not logged in as an Administrator, the parameters can be viewed, and cannot be
changed. The buttons on this tab are greyed out if the user is not logged in as an Administrator.
Buttons
Button Function
Rename Assigns a new, unique name. If the new name is not unique, an error message is
displayed and the profile is not renamed.
Delete Deletes the profile. The current active profile cannot be deleted and an error
message is displayed if a delete is attempted.
New Creates a new profile with the default settings (see “Config Parameters”) and
prompts for a unique name. If the name is not unique, an error message is
displayed and the new profile is not created.
Commit Saves the profile settings made on this screen. Settings are saved in the profile.
Credentials Allows entry of a username and password, certificate names, and other
information required to authenticate with the access point. The information
required depends on the EAP type.
WEP/PSK
Keys
Allows entry of WEP keys or pass phrase as required by the type of encryption.
