4. PressGtobringupaChannelConfigurationsubmenufortheCIM
chain.
5. UsetheÏandÐkey
stohighlighttheNamefieldoftheserverjust
connectedviaZ‐CIM.Thechannelwilldisplayinblackandthe
highlightwillturnyellowwhenitisselected.
6. PressEnter—thehighlightwillturnlightblue.
7. Typethedesiredservername—thehighlightwillturngreenasyou
begintotype.
8. PressEnter—thehigh
lightwillturnyellow.
9. PressStosavethenewname.
10. PressF2toreturntotheSelectionMenu,andverifythattheserver
nameontheZ‐CIMchainischangedsuccessfully,andtheserver
operationisnormal.

1. RemovetheZ‐CIMTerminatorfromtheUTPINportofthelast
Z‐CIMinthechainandsetaside.
2. ConnectaCat5UTPcabletoUTPINportonthelastZ‐CIMinthe
chain.
3. ConnecttheotherendofthisCat5UTPcabletotheUTPOUTport
onthenextZ‐CIM/serverc
urrentlybeingaddedtothechain.
4. PlacetheZ‐CIMTerminatorintheaddedZ‐CIM’sUTPINport.
