3-8 Chain Dialing
You can program parts of telephone numbers, such as area codes and country codes, using the Quick
Dial Keys and Auto Dial Codes. Then, youcanenter a combination of Quick Dial Keys, Auto Dial Codes,
and digits to dial a telephone number.
Example :
Assume that the following Quick Dial and Auto Dial have already been programmed.
. Quick Dial 01 = 01181 (Overseas to Japan)
. Quick Dial 02 = 3
(Tokyo)
. Auto Dial 10 = 555
Then, you can dial 01181-3-5557631 as follows.
When the machine asks you to dial :
Press 101!, ~021,1Auto Dial~, ~1’~Ol,then~7 ~6~~3 1
Notes:
1. This feature canalsobeused when dialing with the handset and inon-hookdial mode.
2. The Redial Key cannot be used with this feature.
3. This feature cannot be used in keystroke programs or memory transmission.
