Chapter 5 The Docking Station
Introduction
LXE offers one docking station for the MX2 – a stationary single dock that holds one MX2. The
stationary single dock powered docking station has two primary uses:
• Recharge the MX2 NiMH battery pack and lithium backup batteries.
• Provide a connection for serial communications between the MX2 and the host
computer or another serial device, such as a printer or modem.
The powered docking station requires an AC/DC power source.
Note: Do not use the MX2 docking station with any other unit.
Note: The MX2 is not designed to use alkaline batteries.
Please refer to the “MX2 User’s Guide” when using the MX2 with a Docking Station.
