Maintaining your washing machine
Repairing a frozen washing machine
If the temperature drops below freezing and your washing machine is frozen:
1. Unplug the washing machine from the electrical outlet.
2. Pour warm water over the water tap to loosen the water supply hose.
3. Remove the water supply hose and soak it in warm water.
4. Pour warm water into the washing machine drum and let it sit for 10 minutes.
5. Reconnect the water supply hose to the water tap and check if the water supply and drain are operating
normally.
Storing your washing machine
If you need to store your washing machine for an extended time, it’s better to drain and disconnect it. The
washing machine can be damaged if water is left in the hoses and internal components before storage.
Prepare your washing machine for storage as follows:
1. Turn the Cycle Selector to select 15’ Quick Wash cycle and run your washing machine without laundry
for this cycle.
2. Unplug the washing machine from the electrical outlet.
3. Turn the water taps off and disconnect the water supply hoses.
4. Leave your washing machine door open to allow air to circulate inside the drum.
If your washing machine has been stored in below-freezing temperatures, allow time for any leftover
water in your washing machine to thaw out before using it.
