andtheplunger,assistedbyaspring,retractstoits
restposion(approximatelythreeminutes).
Service Diagnoscs
WaxMotorvs.Solenoid—Whenthewaxmotor
isusedinsteadofasolenoid,itmaytakeupto60
secondstoactuateanduptothreeminutestocool
toresetvs.theimmediateaconofasolenoid.The
meforthewaxmotortoactuateandresetmustbe
consideredwhendiagnosingcomponentproblems.
