The motor control is also able to deliver the various instantaneous and
output values during constant speed, acceleration and retardation. These
valuesareusedtocalculatetheweightoftheloadedlaundryandtodetect
anyloadimbalances.Aseparateunbalanceswitchcanalsobeconnected
to the motor control.
Whenthedruminadrainsequencestartsitsaccelerationfromwashrpm
todistributionrpm,theextremeunbalancemeasurementwillstartonce
about90%ofthedistributionrpmhasbeenattained.Subsequently,during
the entire remaining super unbalance measurement, the distribution time
andduringtheentiresubsequentextractiontime,theprogramunitwill
detectwhetherthereisanyextremeunbalance.
Incaseofextremeunbalancethatcanariseife.g.aspringstrutisdefec-
tiveorwhenwashinginsacks,theaccelerationwillbestoppedtowaitfor
thedrumtostop.Ifextremeunbalancearisesduring:
a. distribution or during super unbalance measurement, the drain se-
quencewillrestartfromthebeginning.Thenumberofrestartattempts
can be changed in the system data but is usually set to 5. The value can
alsobechangedviaconguration2.
b. extraction,theprogramwillstopandmovetothewashsequenceafter
extraction.
Thesafetysystemofthemachineincludesdoubledetectionofthedoor
lock.Boththeprogrammeunitandmotorcontrolusedifferentswitchesto
detectproperdoorlocking.Themotorcannotstartunlessbothswitches
verifythedoorislocked.
