The door will not open
Problem Cause and remedy
The door cannot be
pulled open during a
pr
ogramme.
The drum is locked during a programme.
P
ress the Start/Stop button.
Use the sensor t
o select Cancel programme or
Add laundry.
The door will unlock and you will be able to pull it
open.
There is still water in the drum and the machine is un‐
able t
o drain.
Clean
the drain filter and the drain pump as de‐
scribed in "Opening the door in the event of a
blocked drain outlet and/or power failure".
The water level in the drum is too high.
C
ancel the programme. The water will be pumped
away.
Comfort cooling
appears in the display

er a programme has
been cancelled.
For safety reasons the drum door cannot be opened if
the suds t
emperature is higher than 55°C.
W
ait until the temperature in the drum has de‐
creased and the message has gone out in the dis‐
play.
