USING THIS GUIDE
This Administrator’s Manual is your guide to using the Inter-Tel 3000 system. It also explains how to
program system settings using a digital telephone set.
In describing the various system features, dialing codes are given which are used to activate features with
standard analog phones and the Inter-Tel cordless phone.
Read
Using the Digital Telephone Set Display on page 17 to understand how to operate the menus and use
the other features of your system digital telephone set.
To get up and running, read the section
Getting Started – Basic Call Features on page 25.
When you are ready to use more advanced features, refer to the section

Your Inter-Tel 3000 can be equipped with a Voice Module. The voice services available include: Courtesy
Service, see page

Note: Use of the standard Courtesy Service greeting does not require a Voice Module to be installed.
