Longer pre-wash for Cottons
The pre-wash for the Cottons
programme can be extended by 6, 9
or 12 minutes.
The default setting for the pre-wash is
25 minutes.
If you require a longer pre-wash, this
time of 25 minutes can be extended.
The machine is delivered with no
additional time for the pre-wash
selected.
Suds cooling
When this is activated, additional
water flows into the drum at the end
of the main wash to cool the suds
down. Hot suds can damage plastic
drainage pipes.
Suds cooling takes place when a
Cottons programme with a temperature
of 70°C or higher is selected.
Suds cooling should be activated:
–
to prevent the danger of scalding if
the drain hose is hooked over the
edge of a sink or basin.
–
where the drainage pipes do not
comply with DIN 1986.
The machine is delivered with the Off
option activated.
Code
The code prevents the washing
machine being used without your
knowledge.
When the code has been activated, you
have to enter a code after switching the
washing machine on. Otherwise the
washing machine cannot be operated.
To activate the code
The display will request a code. The
code is 125 and cannot be altered.
^ Use
+ to enter the first number.
^ Confirm the first number with
OK and
then enter the second number.
Repeat the process until all three
numbers have been entered.
^ After the last number has been
entered, you must confirm the code
with
OK.
To use the washing machine when
the code is activated
Each time the washing machine is
switched on again, the display will
request the code.
^
Enter code 125 with the
+ and -
sensors.
^
The washing machine is now
unlocked and ready for use.
To deactivate the code
^
Proceed as for activating the code.
You can now switch on the washing
machine without being asked to enter a
code.
