Your washer has some of the following features. Understanding the use of the features
on your machine will help you efficiently use your washer.
Using the detergent dispenser
1. Load the basket.
2. To use liquid detergent:
• Insert the flow diverter (labeled 1 in
illustration) and liquid detergent adapter
(labeled 2) into the powdered detergent
dispenser.
To use powdered detergent:
• Remove flow diverter and liquid detergent
adapter.
3. Pour measured detergent (following
manufacturer’s directions) into the appropri-
ate dispenser or adapter. Avoid dripping or
spilling detergent on the wash load.
4. Fill other dispensers (if needed).
5. Start the washer. Detergent is added to the
washer basket before the wash cycle fill.

lint filter
The lint filter at the bottom of the washer
basket cleans itself. During agitation, wash
and rinse water pass over the filter, separating
the lint from the water. The lint is then spun
away from the filter and out of the system
during the spin part of the cycle.
If your washer drains into a tub, remove any
lint collected in the tub or strainer.
