Transporting the machine to its
installation site
When moving the machine you can
hold it by the lid where it protrudes to
the rear of the dryer.
To manoeuvre the dryer out of its pack
-
ing case to its installation site you will
also need to hold it by the front feet.
Building under a continous worktop /
in a row of kitchen units
Building under kits* or stacking kits*
must be fitted by a suitably qualified
fitter.
The space required by the vent duct
must be taken into consideration when
calculating the distance between the
machine and a wall or other appliances
or furniture on either side.
–Abuilding under kit* is required.
The machine lid is replaced by a
coverplate which must be fitted by a
suitably qualified person to ensure
electrical safety. It is essential that
the coverplate is fitted to ensure
electrical safety.

When installing under a 900/910 mm
high worktop a spacer kit* is re

quired.

Flat type ducting* is required if there
is not enough space for a vent duct.

The electrical socket must be lo

cated in an accessible position near
the machine.

from your Miele dealer or the Miele
Spare Parts Department.
The building under kit is supplied with
its own installation instructions.
When built under running times may be
longer.
Replacing the lid
If the lid has been removed in order to
fit a cover plate, ensure that, if the lid is
replaced, it fits securely into the rear
holders. Otherwise, it is not properly
secure for transport.
