Fault Possible cause Remedy
After the beginning of
the programme the fol
-
lowing symbols flash
in the display:
"=== ... -== ... == ... ".
This is not a fault. The electronic unit is cal
-
culating the drying time for
the programme (see
"Guide to the appliance").
The programme stops,
the Anti-crease/Finish
indicator light comes
on and "0" appears in
the display.
This is not a fault. If there is no laundry in the drum
when the programme (Cottons and Minimum iron
programmes) is started, the electronics will register
this and stop the programme. The programme will also
be stopped if the laundry is dry when the programme
is started or an individual item is dried. Use the Timed
drying programme (Warm air) to dry individual items.
Shortly before the end
of the programme, the
count down of the time
left to run halts at "6",
horizontal bars flash
(=6 ... -6 ...), but the
dryer continues to dry.
This might be because:
Items of laundry may
have rolled up together.
The types of fabrics be-
ing dried may take dif-
ferent times to dry.
The fluff filter may be
blocked.
The temperature in the
room may have
changed.
The drying process is not
yet complete. The
programme needs more
time than the electronic
unit had calculated at the
start of the programme.
The time count down is
suspended until the de-
gree of drying selected
has been reached.
