Furthermore, the following settings/revisions have been configured:
• Preinstalled XPe to include the Product ID Number (PID)
• Placed the Gold Drive Part Number, Date Created, LPIN, and
Release in Registry under:
HKey-Local_Machine\Software\NCR\Gold Drive
• Established a NFTS primary system partition that fills the entire
drive
• Included necessary OS cab files in C:\Install
• Installed SMI Control Panel (4.2.2)
• Installed Intel Proset utility
• Set virtual memory to 128
• Enabled APM
• Set ‘APM monitor shutoff’ to ‘Never’
• Set ‘Enable PME’ (in Intel Proset utility) to ‘Hardware Default’
• Set color to 24 bit
• Added SetResolution.exe to RunOnce registry.
• Added NCR-specific EULA.
