Fitting a plinth facing
The appliance plinth below the door
can be fitted with a plinth facing to
match your kitchen.
The height and return of the appliance
plinth cannot be altered.
Higher plinth can only be fitted if the
overall niche height is higher.

A plinth facing (600 mm long) can be
ordered from your Kitchen Dealer or
manufacturer. For Miele kitchens please
quote the model number of your ma-
chine when ordering.
Before fitting the plinth facing, please
note: Under no circumstances must
anything be stuck over the flap(s) in
the appliance plinth.
In order to open the drum door dur
-
ing an emergency the plinth facing
must be removable.
Fitting the plinth facing:

Stick the velcro strip provided to the
appliance plinth.
For this the following procedure is rec
-
ommended:
^
Match up the hooked side and the
looped side of the velcro strip length
-
wise.
^
Cut it into 2 or 3 sections.
^
Peel the protective backing off one
side of the lengths of velcro.
^
Position the velcro strips along the
appliance plinth, at the left and right
hand sides and in the middle and
then press firmly into place.
^ Carefully remove the remaining pro-
tective foil from the velcro.
Press the plinth facing onto the adhe-
sive surface of the velcro strips and
press firmly into position.
