Opening the drum door in the
event of a power failure
Switch off the washing machine.
Open the drain pump/fluff filter panel
and drain off any water as described
in the Section on Cleaning and care.
Pull the ring of the door mechanism
downwards, the door will open.
Always make sure that the drum is sta-
tionary before reaching in to remove
washing. Reaching into a moving drum
is extremely dangerous.
To check water pressure
Place a bucket under the stopcock.
Turn on the stopcock.
If 5 litres of water flow into the bucket in
15 seconds the water pressure is cor-
rect.
Electric socket
– If there is any doubt about the elec-
tricity supply socket, consult a quali-
fied electrician.
