Suds cooling
When this is activated, additional
water flows into the drum at the end
of the main wash to cool the suds
down. Hot suds can damage plastic
drainage pipes.
Suds cooling takes place when the
Cottons 90°C programme is selected.
Suds cooling should be activated:
–
to prevent the danger of scalding if
the drain hose is hooked over the
edge of a sink or basin.
– where the drainage pipes do not
comply with DIN 1986.
The machine is delivered with Suds
cooling deactivated.
Follow steps A to G to programme
and store in memory.
Before you begin, ensure that:

The washing machine is switched off.

The machine door is closed properly.
–
The programme selector is at Finish.
A Press the Start button and keep it
pressed in whilst carrying out steps
B-C.
B Switch the machine on with the _
button.
C Wait until the indicator light for the
Start button lights up constantly . . .
D . . . and then release the Start
button.
E Turn the programme selector to
Cottons 30°C.
A P will flash in the display alternating
with the number 0 or 1.
0 = deactivated
1 = activated
F Each subsequent press on the Start
button selects a different setting.
The number flashing in the display
indicates the option selected.
G Switch the washing machine off
using the _ button.
