Problem Possible cause Remedy
The Change filter
indicator light has
come on.
A filter counter registers the
number of hours the hygiene
filter has been operating for.
Under normal conditions, it is
time to replace the hygiene
filter when the Change filter
indicator light comes on.
It is very important to
follow the instructions
given in "Cleaning and
care - Replacing the
hygiene filter".
The allerdry indicator
light does not flash
immediately.
This is not a fault. The
allerdry
indicator will only begin to
flash when the Allerdry stage (longer temperature
holding time) of the drying sequence is in progress.
The Anti-crease/
Finish indicator light
flashes while drying
is in progress.
The programme selector was
moved after the start of a
programme. The programme
continues to run as normal.
Turn the selector back to
the original position and
the indicator light will go
out.
The programme
stops and the
Machine iron-/Hand
iron or Normal
indicator light
flashes. The buzzer
sounds.
No obvious cause. – Switch the dryer off and
then on again.
– Then start the
programme again.
If the programme stops
again and an indicator
lamp flashes, there is a
fault. Contact the Miele
Service Department.
The programme
stops and the
Anti-crease/Finish
indicator light comes
on. 0 will appear in
the display. The
buzzer sounds.
This is not a fault. The
electronic unit has
recognised that there is no
laundry in the drum and
cancelled the programme.
Drying individual garments or
items which are already dry
can also cause the
programme to be cancelled.
Use the Timed drying -
Warm air programme to
dry individual items.
The indicator light will go
out when you open and
close the door, if the dryer
is switched on.
The time remaining
pauses. Bars =...-...
appear in the
display.
This is not a fault.
The drying process is not yet
complete.
The programme has taken
longer than was estimated
at the beginning.
The adjusted time
remaining will appear in
the display after a while.
