Problem Possible cause Remedy
There is a build
up of fluff.
Fluff is principally the result
of friction when garments are
being worn and washed.
Machine drying hardly
causes any fluff to form and
has been established by
research institutes to have no
appreciable effect on the
lifetime of the garment.
Fluff is collected by the fluff
filters and can be easily
removed (see "Cleaning and
Care").
The laundry is
not sufficiently
dry.
The load consisted of
different fabrics or the item
was very large.
Finish drying using "Timed
drying - Warm air".
Select a more suitable
drying programme next
time (see "Programme
chart").
Use the
allerdry Pillows
programme for drying very
large items such as
bedding.
Pillows still feel
damp after being
dried.
The pillow is very large.
The tumble dryer has been
overloaded.
See the appropriate
section in the "Programme
chart".
Dry the pillow several
times using the
allerdry
Pillows
programme until it
feels dry
or leave the pillow to finish
drying at room
temperature.
Feather filled
pillows smell
after drying.
Feathers are a natural
product and this is quite
normal.
The smell will dissipate after
sufficient airing.
