Clean out airways
You are asked to clean
the airways at the end of
a programme.
The dryer is not working
efficiently or
economically.
Possible reason for this:
The fluff filter is clogged
with fluff or with detergent
residues.

Cleaning the filters is
usually all that is
required.
However, if the
message does not go
out after you have
cleaned the filters, then
also check all the
possible causes
described under "The
drying process goes
on too long or even
switches off". (See
"Other problems").
– Open and shut the
door.
You can change the
parameters for this
message (See the
Settings menu).

buzzer sounds.

– Make a note of what is
shown in the display.
– Try to resolve the
problem yourselft.

Switch the dryer off
and then on again.

If you do not succeed:
Call the Service
Department.
A prompt which has not
been described
previously appears in
the display.
A programme cannot be
started while there is a
fault message in the
display.
Comfort cooling
The programme has
finished but the laundry is
still being cooled down.
You can either unload the
drum and leave the
laundry to cool at room
temperature or leave it in
the tumble dryer to
continue cooling.
