Miele T4322 Clothes Dryer User Manual

Check indicator lamps
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The "Locked"
indicator lamp
flashes when the
machine is
switched on and
the programme
cannot be started.
The system lock is
activated.
If you wish to use the dryer,
the system lock must be
deactivated (see "Electronic
system lock").
The "Clean out
airways" indicator
lamp comes on .
The fluff filter in the door is
blocked.
Clean the fluff filter (see
"Cleaning and care").
The vent ducting or the
ventilation outlet (e.g.
window or wall vent) is
blocked.
Check all parts of the
extraction system on a regular
basis (e.g. wall vent, external
grille, bends in the ducting
etc.) and make sure they are
free of any hindrance.
Remove any fluff.
Ventilation to and from the
dryer is insufficient (e.g. in
a small room)
Open a door or window while
drying for increased air flow.
The check lamp will go out
when the door is opened.
The "Clean out
airways" indicator
lamp is still on
after the fluff filter
has been cleaned.
The vent ducting is very
long.
See "Installation - venting" on
calculating length and
diameter. See also notes in
"How to dry correctly".
If very long ducting is used
then programme times will be
longer and energy
consumption higher.
