2) Click the “Save Settings” button.
● Setting the motion detection
1) Select one of the followings in “Motion Detect:”
Enable : To turn motion detection on.
Disable : To turn motion detection off.
(Default: Disable)
2) Select the “Sensitivity” level from the pull-down menu.
High : Generates an alarm upon detection even to the slightest
change in brightness.
Middle : Sensitivity is at a level between High and Low.
Low : Generates an alarm upon detection of significant changes in
brightness only.
(Default: Middle)

If an alarm is detected frequently when there are no abnormalities, reduce
the level of sensitivity.
3) Click the “Save Settings” button.
● Setting up EXT Control
1) Select “EXT” in “External Alarm Detect.”
2) Click the “Save Settings” button.

For record settings at the time of alarm generation, refer to “Alarm Recording”
(➝ page.40) and “FTP by External Alarm/Motion Detection” (➝ page.46).

For record settings when the EXT Control is used, refer to “FTP by EXT

You can send an email at the time when an alarm is raised. For more information
about settings, refer to “Mail Settings” (➝ page. 68).
