Playing as a Coach
The Detroit Lions came out of nowhere last season to become a
serious contender in the NFC North. Matt Stafford stayed healthy
and threw for over 5,000 yards. A big chunk of that went to Calvin
Johnson, Jr. He may very well be the best WR in the NFL so make
sure you target him early and often. The Lions are full of receivers
and tight ends and have a solid stable of running backs. Putting up
points should be the least of your worries when coaching this team.
The Lions defense is centered on getting pressure from the front
four. Cliff Avril and Ndamukong Suh lead the charge on getting after
the QB. The linebacker squad has been taken a step up with the
addition of Stephen Tulloch. You won’t need too many stops on D as
the Detroit offense can keep you in games that turn into shootouts.
