That decision might be easier if you nd a stud QB in the upcoming
draft. Fitzpatrick is serviceable but doesn’t have one attribute that
stands out as elite. An argument can be made that the weapons
just aren’t there for Fitzpatrick. Buffalo could certainly target a WR
or TE to help ease the pressure. Defensively, both outside lineback-
ers are creeping up in age and CB will still need to be bolstered.
Playing as a Player
A Field General QB could easily start on the Bills as well as a Route
Running WR or Balanced TE. The only spots on defense you won’t
start at right away is along the defensive line. You’ll have opportuni-
ties to see signicant playing time in the secondary as a Prototype
CB or Balanced SS.
