PURE CYCLE
TM
Pure Cycle is a self-cleaning cycle that removes mold that may occur inside the washer.
1. Press the Power button.
2. Select the Pure Cycle.
• Once the Pure Cycle is chosen, the only function that can be set is Delay Start.
3. Press the Start/Pause button.
• When you press the Start/Pause button, the Pure Cycle begins.
• Using the Pure Cycle, you can clean the drum without using a cleaning agent.
• Never use the Pure Cycle when laundry is in the washer. It may cause damage to the
laundry or a problem with the washer.
• If you want to use a drum cleaning agent, use only 1/10 the amount of the drum
cleaning agent recommended by the cleaning agent manufacturer. (When using a
powder-type cleaning agent , remove the liquid detergent compartment.)
The Pure Cycle Auto Notifi cation
• If cleaning the tub (drum) is required, the Pure Cycle auto notifi cation screen appears.
When this remove the laundry from the washer, turn the power on, and clean the drum
by running the Pure Cycle.
• If you do not run the Pure Cycle, the Pure Cycle auto notifi cation screen will be shown
again after two washes. Not running the Pure Cycle at this point will not cause a problem
with the washer.
• Although the Pure Cycle auto notifi cation screen appears once a month or so, the
frequency may di er depending on the number of times the washer is used.
