To set the required programme, all you have to do is turn the Timer
Control clockwise until the required selection appears in line with the
indicator. Never turn the timer control anti-clockwise.
This operation also starts the dryer, provided the door is closed and
the machine is plugged in.

2. Smart (Automatic) Drying Full (large) loads

4. Timed drying (up to 60 minutes)
5. Cool Tumble Phase
The Smart Drying programmes will automatically dry most loads to the
fully dry ready to wear condition. This eliminates the need to guess the
drying times and saves energy. High Heat MUST be selected. (Heat
switch IN). To select Smart Drying turn the selector to position:
S-HALF LOAD for average loads and S-FULL LOAD for large loads.
S-HALF LOAD Smart Drying average loads
1 to 3kg Cottons, Polycottons or Synthetics (Dry Weight).
S-FULL LOAD Smart Drying large loads
3 to 5kg Cottons (Dry weight)
When the door is closed the Smart Drying light will glow to indicate that
Smart Drying programme is running. When the load is dry, the selec-
tor will automatically advance to the 8 minute cool tumble phase.
Note:
• If LOW heat is selected for a Smart Drying programme, the
dryer will advance to COOL without drying the load.
• For acrylics and acrylic mixtures, select LOW heat and use
timed drying.
• Small loads (less than 1kg) must be dried using the timed
drying programme.
