B. ADJUSTMENTS
7 DAYS AFTER INSTALLATION AND EVERY 6 MONTHS THEREAFTER
Inspect bolts, nuts, screws, setscrews, grounding connections, and nonpermanent gas connections (i.e., unions,
shutoff valves, and orifices). Fan (impellor) V-belts, along with the motor and drive belts should be examined
and replaced if necessary. Tighten loose V-belts when necessary. Complete operational check of controls and
valves. Complete operational check of ALL safety devices (i.e., door switches, lint drawer switch, sail switch,
burner, and hi-limit thermostats).
Squirrel cage type fan (impellor) on the blower motor must be inspected and cleaned every 6 months.
C. LUBRICATION
The fan shaft bearing, and ALL the basket (tumbler) drive shaft and idler shaft bearings must be lubricated
every 3 months. Use a #2 Alvania grease or its equivalent. Lubrication is necessary or premature bearing
failure will be the result.
The motor bearings are permanently lubricated and DO NOT require to be serviced.
