PRO are p leased t o explai n the emissi ons con-
trol system wa rrant y on your year 20 12 and lat-
er small off--road engine. In California, all small
off--road engines m ust be d esigned, built, and
equ ip pe d to m ee t the State’s stringe nt anti--
smog standards. Poulan PRO must warr ant
the emission control system on your small
off--road engine for the periods of time listed
below provided there has been noabuse,ne-
glect, or im proper maintenance of your small
off--road engine. You r emi s sio n con trol sy stem
includes parts such as th e carburet or , the igni-
tion syst em andthe fuel t ank.Where awarrant-
able condition exists, P oulan PRO will repair
your small off--road engine at no cost to you.
Expenses co vered under warranty include
diagnosis, parts and labor. MANUFACTUR-
ER’S WARRANTY COVERAG E: If any
emissions related part on your engine (as
listed underEmissionsContro l Warranty Parts
List) is def ecti ve or a defect in the materials or
workmanship of the e ngine causes t he failure of
suchan emission related part, t he part w ill bere-
paired or replaced by Poulan PRO. OWNER’S
WARRANTY RESPONSIBILITIES: As the
small off--road engine owner,youarerespon-
sible for the performance of the required
maintenance listed i n your instruction manu-
al. Poulan PRO recommends tha t you retain
all receipts covering maintenance on your
small off--r oad engine, but Poulan PRO can-
not deny warranty solely for t he lack of re-
ceipts or for your f ailure to ensure the perfor-
mance of all scheduled maintenance. As the
small off--road engine owner, you should be
aware that Poulan PRO may deny you war-
ranty coverage if your small off--roa d engine
or a part of it has faileddue to abuse, neglect,
improper maintenance, unapproved modifi-
cations, or the use of parts not made or ap-
provedby theoriginal equipmentmanufact ur-
er. You are responsible for presenting your
small o ff--road engine to an Poulan PRO autho-
rize d repair center as soon as a problemexists.
Warranty repairs should be complete d in a rea-
sonable a mount of time, not to exceed 30 days.

This warranty shall be for a per iod of two
years from t he initial date ofpurchase, oruntil
the end ofthe product warranty (whichever is
longer). WHAT IS COVERED: REPAIR OR
REPLACEMENT OF PARTS. Repair or re-
placement of any warranted part will be per-
formed at no charge to the owner at an ap-
