Mouse
Access: Start | Settings | Control Panel | Mouse
Set the double-click sensitivity for stylus taps on the touch screen.
Note: Because the HX1 relies on the PC’s mouse for input, this option has little effect on the
HX1.
Network and Dial-up Connections
Access: Start | Settings | Control Panel | Network and Dialup Connections
• COM1 and COM2 Serial Ports. – It may be necessary to adjust the COM1 or COM2
properties if you wish to use the configuration cable to establish a HyperTerminal or
FTP connection via the COM port.
• USB Port. – No settings need to be changed to use the USB port for ActiveSync.
• Cisco Radio Wireless Network Connection – Select between DHCP or static IP
addressing.
To configure the HX1 to use DHCP or a fixed IP address, select the desired connection and
double click (or select File | Properties). The default is to obtain an IP address via DHCP.
A static IP address can be assigned by clicking the Specify an IP address radio button and entering
the desired IP address, subnet mask and gateway.
