b. Select Remote Support.
c. Select Customize Outbound Connectivity.
In the Customize Outbound Connectivity window, you must enable the local system as a call-
home server. Check Enable local system as a call-home server to allow the local HMC to
connect to remote support for call-home requests. In the Agreement for Service Programs
window, read the agreement carefully and click Accept to accept the agreement and to
proceed.
On the Local Modem tab, check the Allow dialing using the local modem.
Click on Modem Configuration and fill out or select the fields in the upcoming Customize
Modem Settings window.
Click OK to configure the modem settings and to close the window.
Back in the Customize Outbound Connectivity window, click on Add to add a phone number
for your service connection. In the next window (Add Phone Number), in the Country or
region field, select the appropriate country from the pull-down menu. In the State or province
field, select the appropriate state from the pull-down menu. From the list, select one phone
number (the comment field will help you to identify the correct location), and click on Select as
Number. The chosen parameters are copied to the appropriate fields at the bottom of the
window.
