The
following
illustration
shows
the
location
of
the
LEDs
on
the
system
board.
You
might
need
to
refer
to
this
illustration
when
solving
problems
with
the
computer.
Each
error
LED
is
lit
to
indicate
a
problem
with
a
specific
component.
After
a
problem
is
corrected,
its
LED
will
not
be
lit
the
next
time
the
computer
is
restarted;
if
the
problem
remains,
the
LED
will
be
lit
again.

The
Product
Recovery
program
is
on
a
hidden
partition
of
the
hard
disk.
The
Product
Recovery
program
runs
independently
of
the
operating
system
and
reinstalls
your
operating
system
and
preinstalled
software.
If
your
hard
disk
drive,
including
the
partition
that
contains
the
Product
Recovery
program,
becomes
damaged
or
if
you
replace
the
hard
disk
drive,
contact
IBM
to
order
the
IBM
Product
Recovery
CD
to
recover
your
preinstalled
operating
system,
application
programs,
and
device
drivers.See
