Chapter 43 Stepper Motor Controller
1. Overview
The stepping motor controller consists of PWM pulse generators, motor drivers, selector logic
circuits and A/D converter inputs.
The four motor drivers have a high-output driving capability and two motor coils can be connect-
ed directly to four pins. The motor rotation is designed to be controlled by a combination of the
PWM pulse generators and selector logic circuits. The synchronization mechanism enables
synchronous operation of two PWM pulse generators.
