Turning Off the Projector
PresstheON/STAND-BYbuttononthetopcontrolor
ontheremotecontrol,andPower off? appearsonthe
screen.
Press theON/STAND-BYbuttonagain toturn offthe
projector.ThePOWERindicatorstartstoblinkred,and
thecoolingfanskeeprunning.(Youcanselectthelevel
offans’quietnessandspeed.See“Fan”onpage55.)
Atthistime,youcanunplugtheACpowercordevenif
thefansarestillrunning.

When theprojector has cooled down enough,the
POWERindicatorstops blinkingand youcan turnon
theprojector.
Note:
•WhentheOnstartfunctionissettoOn,theprojectorwill
beturnedonautomaticallybyconnectingtheACpower
cordtoanACoutlet(p.50).
•Therunningspeedofcoolingfansischangedaccording
tothetemperatureinsidetheprojector.
•Donotputtheprojectorinacasebeforetheprojectoris
cooledenough.
•IftheWARNINGindicatorblinksorlightsred,see
“WARNINGindicator”onpage58.
•WhilethePOWERindicatorisblinking,thelampisbeing
cooleddownandtheprojectorcannotbeturnedon.Wait
untilthePOWERindicatorstopsblinkingtoturnonthe
projectoragain.
•Thefanrotation willterminatedirectly iftheACpower
cord is unplugged immediately after the projector is
turnedoff.
•The projector can be turned on after the POWER
indicator turns red.The waitingtime to restart will be
shortenedwhenthenormalpower-offprocessingforfan
cooling iscompleted, comparedwith thetime theAC
powercord isimmediately unpluggedafter thepower-
off.
