Printing* See the PS/PCL/UFR II Printer Guide
You can upgrade this machine to a
high-speed network printer by activating the
optional UFR II/PCL/PS Printer Kit. This kit
incorporates UFR II (Ultra Fast Rendering
II) Technology, which utilizes a newly
invented printing algorithm to minimize file
processing and achieve maximum
performance. It also supports PS and PCL
at maximized speed.
Alternatively, installing the optional
imagePASS (PS controller) enables you to
use the machine, not only as a PostScript
printer when loaded with Adobe PostScript
3 software, but also as an emulation printer
of PCL5e/PCL6.
imagePASS is an optional freestanding PS
(PostScript) controller. It can efficiently
output various data types, such as large
and complex files (which combine graphics,
photos, and text), Adobe PostScript 3 files,
detailed graphics, etc.
