What to do if, . . . Cause . . . Remedy . . .
. . . one of the following
lights is flashing:
“Soak / Pre-wash”
“Main wash”
“Rinses 1 - 2”
“Rinse 3”
There is a fault. Start the programme again. If
the light starts flashing again,
call the Service dept.
. . . the “Rinse hold” light
flashes?
The spin speed selector has
been set to “Rinse hold”.
Select a spin speed setting (or
Without final spin).
. . . the “Drain/Final spin”
light is flashing:
The final spin has not taken
place The machine detected an
imbalance.
Loosen the laundry load.
Turn the programme selector
to “Spin”.
The spin speed appropriate
for the programme should be
selected.
. . . the “ON” indicator light
is flashing:
Programme locking is activated.
There was an attempt to alter
the programme.
Reselect the programme
originally chosen.
. . . the washing is not spun
satisfactorily:
The spin speed selected was
too low.
Select a higher spin speed next
time.
The load was not distributed
sufficiently evenly in the drum.
Laundry was spun at a reduced
speed to protect the machine.
Mix large and small items in a
load to avoid imbalance.
The fluff filter is clogged. Clean the fluff filter.
. . . the machine shakes
during the spin cycle:
The four feet are not resting
evenly on the floor.
Level the machine (See Section
on Installation).
. . . the light rings do not il-
luminate:
The bulb has gone.
(This in no way affects the
machine’s function).
Changing the bulb requires a
Service call.
. . . in spite of adequate
water supply the water flows
slowly into the machine:
The filter in the water inlet
system is blocked.
Clean the water inlet filter.
