• Add a measured amount of detergent to the detergent drawer. Use only detergent spe-
cifically recommended for top loading washers and follow the manufacturer’s instruc-
tions.
• If required, add a measure of liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach inlet. Avoid spilling
bleach onto the clothes in the machine as undiluted bleach may damage them.
• If desired add measured liquid fabric softener to the softener inlet until it reaches the
load line. Avoid spilling undiluted softener onto the clothes in the tub as it may damage
them.
• The machine will automatically dispense detergent, bleach and softener at the appro-
priate time during the wash cycle.

BEFORE ANY OF THE WASH OPTIONS ARE SELECTED YOU MUST FIRST:
• Insert the power plug into an earthed wall socket and switch on.
• Open the hot and cold water taps.
• Load the washing into the machine.( see Loading)
• Add detergent and if necessary softener and bleach.( See Adding detergents)

NOTE: DO NOT OPEN THE HOT WATER TAP W2ITHOUT OPENING THE
COLD WATER TAP ALSO.

IT IS ESSENTIAL TO OPEN THE COLD WATER TAP FOR ALL PROGRAMMES.
