Programming
The wash cycle program in machines equipped with a
mechanical timer can be modified to a limited extent.
The following changes can be made:
The prewash time may be set to two minutes,
four minutes or omitted altogether.
The wash time may be set to either four minutes
or eight minutes.
The water level for the wash step may be set to
either low or high.
The water temperature for the rinses may be set
to either cold or warm.
The final spin time may be set to either
two minutes or four minutes.
Setting the Jumpers With Circuit
Board
NOTE: The odd-numbered side of the timer is used
to change the duration of individual cycle steps.
The even-numbered side of the timer is used to
adjust the rinse temperature or to change the water
level for the wash step.
1. Disconnect the power to the machine.
2. Unlock and raise top cover.
3. Remove control module cover.
4. Locate the mechanical timer in the middle of the
control module.
5. Install or remove jumpers on the odd side to set
desired cycle time. Refer to Figure 1 and Table 1
for jumper configurations for odd-side options.

To reduce the risk of electric shock,
serious injury or death, earth (ground) the
dryer frame externally by connecting one
end of a grounding wire under ground
screw on cabinet rear and the other end
to a known effective ground.
