Setting
This function is used to reset the lamp replace counter. When
replacing the projection lamp, reset the lamp replace counter by
using this function. See page 51 for operation.

Factory default
This function returns all setting values except for the lamp counter to
the factory default settings.
Select Factory

[Yes] , and the next
box appears.

● When Panel adjustment is selected, Power management cannot be
selected.
Cleaning
This function is used to clean inside of the projector. Using blower
at the same time is more effective. (See p48)
Press the SELECT button, then the projected image is blacked out
temporary whether input source is selected or not. The fan starts to
move automatically to help blowing the dust.
To restore to normal, press any other buttons.
To cancel, press any other button during the cleaning operation.
Panel adjustment
This function is used to get the best picture reproduction of each of
the R(red), G(green) and B(blue) LCD panels. If proper adjustment is
not made, you might get vertical noise lines on the screen.
This function should be made about ten minutes after turning on the
projector, with any signals or without a signal.
Darker environment makes your adjustment more accurate.
The Test pattern screens appear in the order of red, green, blue.
Adjust each patterns as follows.
1. Adjust Bright dialog to minimize vertical lines in the bright part of
the picture.
2. Adjust Dark dialog to minimize vertical lines in the dark part of
the picture.
3. Press the Point Up/Down button to get to the next color.
Repeat 1 and 2 for each of R,G,B panels until lines of the picture
are minimized.
4. Press the Point Up/Down button to get to the Check pattern
screen and check adjustment.
5. To close this screen, press MENU.
