Safety Instructions

forlateruse.UnplugthisprojectorfromACpowersupply
beforecleaning.Do not useliquid oraerosol cleaners.
Useadampclothforcleaning.
Followall warnings and instructions marked onthe
projector.
Foraddedprotection tothe projector duringa lightning
storm,orwhen itis leftunattendedand unusedforlong
periodsoftime,unplug itfrom thewalloutlet.This will
preventdamageduetolightningandpowerlinesurges.
Donotexposethis unittorain orusenear water...for
example,inawetbasement,nearaswimmingpool,etc...
Do not use attachments not recommended by the
manufacturerastheymaycausehazards.
Donotplace thisprojectoron anunstable cart, stand,
ortable.The projector mayfall, causing serious injury
toa childoradult, andserious damagetothe projector.
Use only with a cartor standrecommended by the
manufacturer,or soldwiththeprojector.Wallor shelf
mounting should follow the manufacturer’sinstructions,
and should use a mounting kit approved by the
manufacturers.
Anappliance andcartcombination
shouldbemovedwithcare.Quick
stops, excessive force, anduneven
surfaces maycause theappliance
andcartcombinationtooverturn.
Slotsandopeningsinthebackandbottomofthecabinet
areprovidedforventilation,toensurereliableoperationof
theequipmentandtoprotectitfromoverheating.
Theopeningsshouldneverbecoveredwithclothorother
materials,andthebottomopeningshouldnotbeblocked
by placingthe projectoronabed, sofa, rug, orother
similarsurface.This projectorshould never be placed
nearoroveraradiatororheatregister.
Thisprojectorshouldnotbeplacedinabuilt-ininstallation
suchasabookcaseunlessproperventilationisprovided.
Neverpushobjectsofanykindintothisprojectorthrough
cabinetslotsastheymaytouchdangerousvoltagepoints
orshort out partsthatcouldresult in afireor electric
shock.Neverspillliquidofanykindontheprojector.
Donot installthe projectornearthe ventilation ductof
air-conditioningequipment.
Thisprojectorshould beoperatedonlyfromthetype
ofpower sourceindicated onthemarkinglabel. Ifyou
arenotsureofthetypeofpowersupplied,consultyour
authorizeddealerorlocalpowercompany.
Donotoverloadwalloutletsandextensioncordsasthis
canresultinfireorelectricshock.Donotallowanything
torest onthepowercord.Do notlocatethisprojector
wherethecordmaybedamagedbypersonswalkingon
it.
Do notattempttoservicethisprojector yourselfas
openingor removingCovers may expose you to
dangerousvoltageorotherhazards.Referallservicing
toqualifiedservicepersonnel.
Unplugthisprojectorfromwalloutletandreferservicing
toqualified service personnel under the following
conditions:
a.Whenthepowercordorplugisdamagedorfrayed.
b.Ifliquidhasbeenspilledintotheprojector.
c.Iftheprojectorhasbeenexposedtorainorwater.
d.Iftheprojectordoesnotoperatenormallybyfollowing
theoperatinginstructions.Adjustonlythosecontrols
thatare covered bythe operatinginstructionsas
improper adjustmentof other controlsmayresult in
damageandwill often requireextensivework bya
qualifiedtechniciantorestoretheprojectortonormal
operation.
e.Iftheprojectorhasbeendroppedorthecabinethas
beendamaged.
f. Whenthe projector exhibits adistinctchangein
performance-thisindicatesaneedforservice.
When replacement parts are required,besure the
servicetechnicianhasusedreplacementpartsspecified
bythemanufacturerthathavethesamecharacteristics
astheoriginalpart.Unauthorized substitutionsmay
resultinfire,electricshock,orinjurytopersons.
Upon completion of any service orrepairs to this
projector, askthe servicetechnicianto performroutine
safetycheckstodeterminethattheprojectorisinsafe
operatingcondition.
