Outlet Permissions
Tosettheoutletpermissions:
1. ChooseUserManagement‐‐>User/GroupOutletPermissions.The
User/GroupOutletPermissionswindowappears(refertothefigure
showninSettingtheOutletPermissions(onpage47)section).
2. Selecttheus
erfromthedrop‐downlistintheUserfield.
3. Setthepermissionsasnecessary.Clickthisicon
inafieldand
chooseeitherYesorNo.
4. Whenyouarefinished,clickApply.Thepermissionsareappliedto
theuser.
Note:AtleastIPMIprivilegelevelʺuserʺisrequiredtoswitchoutlets
overIPMI,whichcausesnoeffectonwebfront‐enduse.However,
privilegelevelhasnothingtodowithoutletpermissions.
Setting Up User Groups
TheDominionPXisshippedwithoneUserGroupbuiltin.Thisisthe
AdminUserGroup.ThisUserGroupprovidesfullsystemandoutlet
permissions.Itcanbeneithermodifiednordeleted.
Whencreatinguserprofiles,theUserGroupfielddefaultstotheAdmin
UserGroup.Thismeansthatifyo
udonotchangetheentryinthisfield,
theuserwillenjoyfullsystemandoutletpermissions.Torestrictthe
userʹspermissions,createaUserGroupwithlimitedsystemand/or
outletpermissions,andassigntheusertothatgroup.
