Your appliance has a "programming"
function which you can use to
customise the appliance to your
particular requirements (see
"Programming").
Cleaning for the first time
Before using for the first time, clean the
appliance with a damp cloth only and
then wipe dry.
Do not use washing up liquid to
clean the ceramic surface as it can
leave a blue sheen which may be
difficult to remove.
Metal components have a protective
coating which may give off a slight
smell when heated up for the first time.
The smell and any vapours will
dissipate after a short time, and do not
indicate a faulty connection or
appliance.
