3. Changing the language used for messages
You can select the language that will be used in the message display.
NOTE
The available languages are as follows:
Inch specification copiers: English, French (“Français”), Spanish
(“Español”) and Japanese (“ ”)
Metric specification copiers: English, German (“DEUTSCH”), French
(“FRANÇAIS”), Italian (“ITALIANO”) and Spanish (“ESPAÑOL”)

Press the */Language key.
The “Default mode setting” [“SELECT SET ITEM”] screen will
appear.

Use the M cursor or the N cursor key to select
“c Language”.

Press the Enter key.
The available languages will be displayed.

Use the M cursor or the N cursor key to select the language
that you want to use.

Press the Enter key.
* The language will be changed, and the message display
will return to the “Ready to copy.” screen.
