2. Carefull
insert the head of a flathead (–) screwdriver into the slot visible
alon
either side of the cable cover (a) and pr
it off.
3. Squeeze the sides of the hin
e cover (b) and pull it off.
4. Gentl
lift the stand cover (c) alon
the top and then slide it backwards
and off the stand.
5. Remove the si
nal cable and the power cord from the monitor b
disconnectin
the correspondin
adapters. Carefull
cut the plastic tie to
free the power cord and remove the screw holdin
the power cord
clamp.
6. La
the monitor facedown on a cushion and remove the six screws
holdin
the hin
e mechanism on the monitor. Lift off the hin
e and base
assembl
.
7. If
ou are installin
an arm or wall-mountin
device, follow the directions
included with the device. If
ou are just chan
in
our cables, continue
with Step 8.
8. Connect the si
nal cable and the power cord, then refit the power cord
clamp in its ori
inal screwpost.
9. Slide the stand cover back on the stand.
10. Put the hin
e cover back on, makin
sure that the strai
ht side is at the
top.
11. Insert the three tabs at the top of the cable cover into the slots in the
back of the monitor and push the cover into place.
